BEER ON TAP
This is a low
cost DIY option, ideally suited to a range of smaller occasions such as
barbecues, family gatherings, home parties and Christmas/New Year
celebrations. The ordering process could not be easier, simply select one
(or more) of our lagers, order and pay on-line and we will do the rest.
Most hire periods are weekends (although, for an additional
charge, they can be longer if you wish). We usually deliver on a Thursday
or Friday and collect on a Monday or Tuesday. Following receipt of your
order and payment, we will contact you to confirm delivery and collection
days and times.
One of our technicians will deliver your beer, tap and
cooling system and will set everything up, test and demonstrate the
equipment. He will not leave until he is certain that everything is in
working order and that you are able to operate the system. All we require
from you is a sturdy table top, or similar, on which to fix the tap, and
an electricity supply (normal household 13amp socket) to power the cooling
system.
You and your guests can then enjoy chilled draught lager on
tap.... that really is all there is to it!
Charges: Unless otherwise stated, all kegs hold 88 pints.
We can also
supply any other lager, for a free quote please contact us!

Our
selection of Ales
Style:
Burton Pale Ale
ABV: 4.5%
See: Golden Brown
Smell: Burton Sulphur
Taste: Dry, Biscuity, Malt, Spicy, Hop
Bitter: 2.5
Sweet: 2.5
Marston's Pedigree is still brewed in the oak casks of the Burton
Unions to preserve its individual character, consistent quality and
taste. Brewed with Maris Otter malt to give a malty depth to the
flavour. Tradional Fuggle hops are added for fruitiness and fine
English Goldings for a spicy high note. Together with the use of
Burton water, this makes a nutty flavour with delicate hoppy aroma
and a dry bitter finish.
Style:
Premium Ale
ABV: 4.5%
See: Dark Ruby
Smell: Toffee, Slight Citrus, Chocolate
Taste: Toffee, Dry, Biscuit
Bitter: 3
Sweet: 3
Tradionally brewed to produce a wonderfully well-balanced blend
of smooth, rich and satisfying flavours from chocolate and crystal
malts combined with a crisp, refreshing bitterness from Styrian,
Goldings and Fuggles hops. A unique and original beer with a
character not unlike the Hobgoblin himself - surprisingly likeable
and engaging... once you get to know him...
Style:
Pale Ale
ABV: 3.6%
See: Pale, Gold
Smell: Citrus, Hop
Taste: Refreshing, Crisp, Hoppy
Bitter: 3
Sweet: 2.5
A new light, golden beer bursting with a fruity hop aroma and a refreshing
zesty, citrus finish, brewed in the heart of England by Marston's at the
home of English Pale Ales, Burton Upon Trent. Traditionally prepared,
exceptionally tasty.

Hire Terms and Conditions
Proof of Age
The sale of
alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 is illegal. If we suspect that an
underage person is attempting to purchase alcohol we will require ID/proof
of age before delivery. Should our technician request ID/proof of age at
the time of delivery, this must be provided before alcohol is handed over.
Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the delivery charge and
the hire charge and the delivery will not be completed. We reserve the
right to refuse delivery of alcohol at any time.
Payment
We require a deposit when you book your event. Until we
have received your deposit, we cannot guarantee the date. We require
payment in full upon delivery of our equipment.
Delivery & Hire Period
The delivery day and time and the collection day and time will be as
agreed with you and confirmed in writing or by e-mail following receipt by
us of full payment and a completed order. All hire periods are for a
maximum of two days. However, at our discretion we may deliver a day
earlier and collect a day later, thereby creating a hire period of four
days at no additional cost to you. Should you require an extended hire
period, i.e. more than two days, this must be requested on the order form
and will be subject to an additional hire charge.
If you do not meet our technician at the agreed delivery or collection
times you will be charged an additional fee. Beer and equipment will not
be delivered unless you are available to receive it and are able to
familiarise yourself with the system under the guidance of the technician.
Setting up, testing and familiarisation will take approximately thirty
minutes, so please allow sufficient time for this process to be completed.
If the technician is delayed for any reason, we will inform you of this
and if necessary arrange an alternative delivery day and time.
Prices
The prices quoted
on the website are valid at the time of order and payment subject to any
oversight or error for which we will not be liable. Some prices may be
special time limited offers, or similar, and as such will only be
guaranteed at the time of order and payment. Should you wish to amend an
existing order, we cannot guarantee to maintain the original prices.
Damaged Equipment
All our
equipment is in full working order at the time of despatch from our depot
and great care is taken when transporting orders to our customers.
However, there is always a slight risk that some form of damage might
occur during transit. Should any items be damaged on delivery they will be
replaced without delay. Once the beer and equipment have been delivered,
set up and tested you will be required to sign an acceptance note
confirming everything is in working order and that you are capable of
operating the equipment. Should you be aware of any fault overlooked by
the technician, or be uncertain regarding any aspect of use of the
equipment you must bring this to the attention of the technician
immediately and before signing the acceptance note. The technician will
not leave until the setup, test and familiarisation process has been
completed to his and your satisfaction. Once you have accepted delivery,
we will not assume responsibility for damage to, or replacement of, any
items and there will be no refund or credit for any opened and part-used
kegs. Any damage or loss sustained during the hire period will be your
responsibility and you will be charged accordingly.
Governing Law
A binding
contract between ‘Tonic Events’ and you, the customer, will exist once
formal written acceptance of your order has been confirmed in writing, or
by e-mail. This contract is subject to English Law and Jurisdiction in
full.
